Teaching Assistant

Year 2 1:1 teaching Assistant –Gosport

Starting September on a temporary contract

Pay: £85 - £92 per day

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 

About the role:

A full-time an energetic individual is needed to supporta Year 2 child with additinal needs for an interim period. Knowledge of Autism and SEMH is highly desirable for this role. The school is highly regarded in the area and is a thriving 2 form entry primary. 

Pay: Daily Rate (£85-£92)
Location: Hedge End
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: 08:30 - 3:30
Duties may include:

Supporting on a 1:1 basis both for academic and social learning 
Adapting resources to meet the needs of the child
Liasing with the teacher and SENCO to ensure teaching and learning is suitable 
Ensuring safeguarding proceedures are understood and followed 
Supporting with pupil regulation and emotional well-being 
Lunch time duties – supervising children eating and interacting with peers
