FLT Driver – Ad Hoc Shifts | Trafford ParkLocation: Trafford Park
Pay Rate: £14.33 per hour
Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm
Shifts: Ad hoc, 1–2 days per week, Between Monday to Wednesday
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier based in Trafford Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for flexible, ad hoc work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. There is also the potential for a long-term position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
Operate double pallet forklifts where required.
Pick, pack and stage customer orders.
Complete routine forklift and equipment safety checks.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
Follow all company health & safety procedures.
Ensure stock is handled accurately and safely at all times.
What We're Looking For
Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence – Essential
Previous warehouse and counterbalance experience.
Experience operating a double pallet forklift is preferred, although training may be provided.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Shift & Break Information
Working hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm
Shifts: Ad hoc, typically 1–2 days per week between Monday to Wednesday.
Breaks: 75 minutes total — 3 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute break.
