Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's site, which stores and distributes our products for a well-known supermarket.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Tamworth.
The rate of pay is:
06:00 - 14:00 Shift
- Monday to Friday: £13.78 per hour
- Saturday & Sunday: £14.98 per hour
22:00 - 06:00 Shift
- Monday to Friday: £15.23 per hour
- Saturday & Sunday: £16.43 per hour
Weekend Uplift
- Additional £1.20 per hour for weekend working
This is a full-time role working any 5 days out of 7, rest days change weekly. The hours of work are:
- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm
- 10pm to 6am
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative you will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment using voice-picking equipment to pick and prepare orders for delivery to stores. This role involves operating LLOP and other MHE equipment, handling stock accurately, and working as part of a team to meet productivity targets.
Our Perfect Worker
- Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
- Previous MHE experience, ideally on a LLOP truck
- Experience operating one or more of the following: LLOP, Reach Truck, PPT, or Counterbalance Truck
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Good English communication skills due to voice-picking systems
- Willingness to be trained on a LLOP machine if required
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties up to 25kg
- Ability to handle alcohol and tobacco products
- Own transport, as the site location is not easily accessible by public transport
- Right to Work in the UK
- Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Availability to work any 5 days out of 7, including weekends
- Willingness to undertake a Drug & Alcohol test
