Job Title: IT Helpdesk Support
Rate: 16-20ph
Start: ASAP
Department: IT Services
Reports to: IT Manager
Purpose of the Role
Provide first-line technical support to staff and students, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues and contributing to the smooth operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Helpdesk Operations
Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries via phone or Helpdesk system.
Log, track, and resolve tickets using Jira Helpdesk software, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
Escalate unresolved issues to second-line support or external vendors as required.
Provide guidance and Support to staff and students on IT systems and best practices.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Technical Support
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware & software.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
Support Office 365, Windows 11 builds, and other enterprise software deployments.
System Administration
Assist with Active Directory management, user account setup, and permissions.
Assist with Microsoft Azure management.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365.
Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Personal Attributes
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
