Production Operative

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting a Production Operative for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.

Production Operative Benefits:

Monday to Friday Rotating shifts - Days 6am to 2pm, afters 2pm to 10pm and Nights 10pm to 6am - these shifts rotate each week and Fridays are an early finish
Hours: 39 hours per week paid weekly
Start date: Monday 14th September 2026
Pay Rates: £15.93 for days/afters & £16.94 for nights
Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks based on performance, attendance and client requirement
Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72Production Operative Duties:

Working in the processing plant
Operating and loading machinery
Operating saws onced fully trained
Quality checking of materials and finished products
Packing and taping items
Working with wood and heavy worktops
Following instructions
General Housekeeping
Working on your own and as part of a team
Minimum daily requirements (production targets)Production Operative Criteria:

Previous assembly/production/manufacturing/warehouse experience is essential
CNC or machine operating experienced preferred but not essential
Able to work rotating shifts
Hard working, reliable and punctual
Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions
Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
