We are recruiting on behalf of an established and values-led organisation for a highly organised Compliance Co-ordinator to support its employee onboarding, recruitment and workforce compliance processes.

Working closely with the People, Talent Acquisition and operational teams, you will help ensure that all pre-employment checks and employee records are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with safeguarding, regulatory and organisational requirements.

Full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities
Managing pre-employment checks, including DBS, right-to-work, references and qualification verification

Monitoring compliance expiry dates and coordinating renewals

Maintaining accurate, confidential and audit-ready employee records

Updating HR systems, compliance trackers, reports and dashboards

Ensuring documentation is stored securely and in accordance with GDPR

Supporting audits, inspections and regulatory reviews

Working with operational leaders and the wider People team to maintain consistent compliance standards

Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and the candidate experience

Supporting the onboarding of new team members

About you You will be an excellent administrator with a methodical approach and exceptional attention to detail. You should be comfortable managing competing priorities and working with confidential information.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience in compliance, HR administration or recruitment administration

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Experience using HR, recruitment or compliance systems

An understanding of safer recruitment and employment compliance requirements

Confidence working with confidential employee data

A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach

Strong communication and customer service skills

A relevant administration or HR qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
