Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a busy and nurturing mainstream primary school in Cwmbran that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their Special Needs Resource Base. The school is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child is supported to thrive both academically and personally.
The school is looking to take on a full-time Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will work within the Special Needs Resource Base, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, providing tailored interventions, encouraging independence and assisting with the delivery of engaging learning activities.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children with ALN and complex needs
• Experience supporting pupils within a primary school environment
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
