Reception/Year 1 Part Time Teacher

A Primary school located in Swadlincote, DE12, are currently recruiting for a mixed Reception/Year 1 teacher to join them until the end of the academic year. This is a job share and the days are fixed to a Thursday and Friday.

They are looking for a teacher who has prior experience and is confident in the planning, preparation, and assessment of children. The successful teacher must be dedicated, enthusiastic and have a drive to make a positive impact on the start of a child's education. You must have experience teaching in EYFS/KS1.

Main responsibilities include:
-Delegating roles to TAs
-3 form entry school so shared planning with other year group teachers
-Delivering lessons in all areas of the curriculum
-Implementing the curriculum with various learning strategies where the children can use their creativity and imagination to learn
-Providing a safe and positive environment for the children
-Attend staff meetings and training days

The right candidate will be required to have a trial day at the school. Please only apply if you CAN start work ASAP
