Catering Porter & Stores Person
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Hours: Monday to Friday - shifts 7 – 3pm, 8 – 4pm, 11 – 6pm & 12 – 8pm
Contract: £12.71ph - Long-term ongoing role with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Catering Porter & Stores Person to join our client's busy operation in Birmingham City Centre.
This is a physically demanding role involving the loading, transportation, and delivery of catering trolleys across the building. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and can consistently deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading catering trolleys safely and efficiently
Delivering stock and equipment to various locations around the building
Picking and preparing orders accurately
Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard
Conducting checks to ensure order accuracy and quality
Working closely with colleagues to maintain smooth daily operations
Adhering to all health and safety proceduresThe Ideal Candidate
Understanding of catering operations or food-related environments would be advantageous
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
Able to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Proactive, switched on, and able to use initiative when required
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Previous experience in a warehouse picking or order fulfilment roleWhat's On Offer?
