Kitchen Porter

Talent Guardian are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join a busy kitchen team based in Park Royal.
 
Location: Park Royal, London, NW10
Hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary, ongoing
PPE: Provided
 
This is an ongoing temporary position, with the operation becoming particularly busy during the peak period from October through to the end of November.
 
You'll be working alongside the chefs and wider kitchen team to help keep the kitchen running smoothly throughout the day.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
Preparing ingredients and kitchen areas ready for service
Washing dishes, utensils, pots and kitchen equipment
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen workstations
Keeping floors and working areas clean and safe
Ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained
Supporting the kitchen team with general duties as required
Following all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures What we're looking for:

Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Able to work well as part of a team
Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene
Previous kitchen or catering experience is beneficial but not essential PPE will be provided.
