Monday- Friday 08.30-17.00 (1hour lunch)
6 months temporary, possibility of applying for a permanent role thereafter
About the role
We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join our busy Accounts Receivable team, supporting the management of the finance ledger and ensuring payments are collected accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities
* Managing outstanding debts and supporting cash collection.
* Responding to customer and debtor queries.
* Setting up and maintaining payment plans.
* Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations.
* Processing invoices, adjustments, discounts and fee waivers.
* Investigating failed payments and resolving payment queries.
* Supporting month-end, audit and reporting activities.
* Helping identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
* Working closely with internal teams and external partners when required.

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
* Confidence dealing with financial information and resolving queries.
* Good IT skills and experience using finance systems.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
