The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside teaching staff to support students within the classroom, encouraging engagement with learning while helping young people to develop their confidence, independence and academic progress.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
Experience supporting secondary-aged students
Experience supporting students with their learning and classroom engagement
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, patient and supportive approach
The ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team
