The Role
You'll take ownership of projects from outline and detailed design through to site delivery and final handover, managing programme, cost, risk, safety and quality throughout.
Working within live operational environments, you'll coordinate multidisciplinary teams, design partners and supply chain organisations while ensuring construction activities integrate effectively with existing treatment assets.
A strong understanding of electrical systems within water or wastewater environments is important, alongside the ability to manage the commercial and operational challenges associated with complex infrastructure delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover
Manage programme, budgets, forecasts, risk and change
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
Oversee the integration of electrical systems within project delivery
Develop integrated design, procurement and commissioning programmes
Manage construction activities within live operational environments
Minimise disruption to existing treatment assets
Coordinate with client teams, operational stakeholders and supply chain partners
Ensure compliance with CDM, SHEQ and contractual requirements
Monitor performance against programme, cost and quality objectives
Support commissioning and successful asset handover
What We're Looking For
Proven Project Management experience within the water industry
Strong electrical engineering background
Experience delivering water or wastewater treatment projects
Understanding of electrical systems used within treatment facilities
Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
Experience working within live operational environments
Practical knowledge of NEC contracts
Strong programme planning and project controls experience
Commercial awareness across budgets, forecasts, risk and change control
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and design partners
Good understanding of CDM Regulations and construction health and safety
Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
