This is initially a temporary opportunity, however there are excellent prospects for ongoing employment and future progression for the right candidates.
The Role
As a Process Operator, you'll become part of a skilled and supportive production team, working within a modern manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Duties
Operating production and process plant equipment in line with procedures
Monitoring production processes and maintaining quality standards
Carrying out routine inspections and basic maintenance activities
Supporting a safe, clean and organised working environment
Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives
Working closely with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who have experience within manufacturing, production, process, chemical, engineering or other industrial environments.
You'll also have:
A strong awareness of health and safety
The ability to follow procedures and work accurately
Good problem-solving skills
A positive attitude and strong team-working abilities
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
The ability to undertake physical duties within an industrial setting
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a continental 24/7 shift pattern:
Days: 06:00 - 18:00
Nights: 18:00 - 06:00
Approximately 19 days off during each shift cycle
Regular extended breaks providing an excellent work-life balance
Pay & Benefits
Competitive Hourly Rates
Following training and competency assessments, hourly rates increase through the following levels:
£21.32 per hour
£22.22 per hour
£23.12 per hour
Overtime Available
Additional overtime opportunities are regularly available at enhanced rates:
1.3x hourly rate
1.7x hourly rate
