Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work in Gillingham and the surrounding Medway area?
R&A Education Solutions is currently working with secondary schools across Gillingham, Chatham, Rainham and the wider Medway area, and we're looking for reliable Cover Supervisors to join our growing team.
Whether you're looking for 1 day a week, 5 days a week or something longer term, we'd love to hear from you.
What will you be doing?
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:
* Supervising lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring pupils remain engaged
* Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Supporting pupils with their learning
* Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
* Providing feedback to the relevant member of staff when required
What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
* Previous experience working with young people or within a school environment
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* A calm, confident and professional approach
* Excellent communication skills
* A genuine interest in supporting pupils' education
* A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
* The right to work in the UK
Teaching qualifications are not essential for Cover Supervisor positions, although relevant experience and qualifications are highly desirable.
