We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of workplace facilities across multiple locations. The successful candidate will ensure that facilities, maintenance, cleaning and support services are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operation of workplace facilities, including maintenance, cleaning and general services.
Coordinate contractors, suppliers and service providers to ensure services are delivered effectively and on time.
Monitor facilities, equipment and office supplies, ensuring they remain available and fully operational.
Carry out regular site inspections and risk assessments, ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.
Respond promptly to facilities-related issues and requests and ensure they are resolved effectively.
Maintain accurate records relating to maintenance, contractors, service agreements and compliance.
Monitor facilities expenditure and support effective budget and cost management.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Support sustainability and environmental initiatives, including recycling and energy efficiency.
Use workplace technology and facilities management systems to manage bookings, services and communications.
Liaise with IT and other relevant teams to assist with technical or workplace issues.

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in facilities management or a related environment, along with strong organisational and communication skills.

You will be:

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive and confident when solving problems.
Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards.
Confident using Microsoft Office and facilities management systems.
Knowledgeable about health and safety requirements and best practice.

Desirable

Facilities Management qualification or relevant certification.
IOSH qualification.
Experience working within a corporate office environment.
Experience managing contractors and external service providers.

The Role

This is a full-time temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to become a permanent member of the team following a successful temporary period.

The role is varied and will involve responsibility across multiple locations, so flexibility and a willingness to travel between sites are essential.
