Warehouse Operative
We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative roles in Corby, this is for our client that is a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle sector.

Hours:
AM - Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, PM 16:00 to 00:00 ROTATING, (2 weeks of AM and then 2 weeks PM)
Or Nights Monday 00:00 to Friday 0800, Fixed
Rate of Pay
AM: £14.48, PM: £15.37
Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:
Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
Ability to work at height for long periods of time - 18m high
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Good communication skills
Ability to be able to lift items that can be up to 32kg in weight.
Duties of a Warehouse Operative:
Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment - please note, the racking in the warehouse is 18m high.
Securely operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
Manual duties such as picking, replenishment and handballing
Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment
