Site Manager

Sphere Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a small works refurbishment and fit-out project at a DWP Job Centre in Trowbridge.

The role will involve managing the day-to-day construction activities on site, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and ensuring the works are delivered safely, to programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the daily running of the construction site.

* Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.

* Oversee refurbishment, fit-out and small works packages.

* Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and RAMS.

* Monitor programme, quality and site progress.

* Manage site logistics, deliveries and materials.

* Maintain high standards of health and safety.

* Liaise with the Project Manager, client and wider project team.

* Complete site records, inspections and relevant documentation.

* Manage snagging and handover through to completion.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment, fit-out or small works projects.

* SMSTS – essential.

* CSCS – essential.

* First Aid – essential.

* Strong health and safety awareness.

* Good subcontractor and programme management skills.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
