Salary: £115-£120 per day
Contract: Monday to Friday, term time only
Start Date: Immediate / ongoing
Aspire People are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school in Lutterworth. This is a great opportunity for an experienced education professional who enjoys taking an active role in the classroom and supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, deliver engaging learning activities and provide valuable support to both teachers and pupils.
The Role
Lead small-group learning sessions and targeted interventions
Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Provide additional support to pupils with a variety of learning needs
Help maintain a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
Support behaviour management and encourage positive engagement
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom resources
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Provide lesson or class cover when required, depending on experience and school expectations
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Experience supporting children within primary education
Confidence leading activities and managing groups of pupils
Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills
A flexible, proactive and nurturing approach
An HLTA qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
