About the Role
The Supply Register is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of John Taylor Free School, part of the John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT), for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from October Half Term through to December 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing secondary school that currently accommodates Year 7 and Year 8 pupils, allowing you to make a real impact during a key stage of students' educational development.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student progress.
Monitor and track pupil achievement, providing constructive feedback.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold high standards of behaviour and attainment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for inspiring young people to achieve their potential.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
