PFI Project Manager Location: Bexley, South East London
Rate: £400 per day Umbrella PAYE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, 40 hours per week

Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading Facilities Management provider who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a Bexley Schools contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on a significant Asset Data and PFI Handback Project, working across two large secondary schools within the London Borough of Bexley.
The RoleYou will be responsible for leading the asset data quality and handback preparation programme, ensuring that asset information, compliance records and contractual documentation are accurate, complete and maintained to the required standards.
You will act as a key point of contact between the client, operational teams, consultants and wider stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, issues and actions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the asset data quality improvement programme to support PFI handback readiness.
Coordinate the collection, validation and maintenance of asset registers, room data, fire strategy information, lifecycle information and compliance records.
Manage and update handback documentation in line with contractual and client requirements.
Develop and maintain project plans, trackers and reporting.
Coordinate actions arising from audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
Act as the central point of contact between the client, operational teams and key stakeholders.
Lead meetings, workshops and progress reviews.
Produce regular project reports and presentations covering progress, risks and issues.
Identify and resolve barriers to project delivery.
Manage client communications and expectations.
Ensure audit findings, risks and corrective actions are effectively followed through to completion.
Maintain strong governance, document control and compliance throughout the project.About YouThe successful candidate will have experience working within Facilities Management, ideally with exposure to asset management, PFI contracts or handback projects.
You will need strong stakeholder and client management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams, manage expectations and drive projects forward.

Strong communication and presentation skillsThis role would suit an experienced FM Project Manager, Facilities Manager, Asset Manager or Contract Manager with a strong understanding of asset information and contract compliance.
