Salary: £26,(Apply online only) – £30,(Apply online only) per annum (depending on experience)

We are working with a welcoming and supportive school in the ST16 area of Stafford that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Support children with SEND, autism, communication difficulties, behavioural needs and additional learning needs.
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage confidence, independence and engagement.
Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom to help them access the curriculum.
Assist teachers with delivering engaging lessons and adapting activities to meet individual learning needs.
Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop their social, emotional and communication skills.
Work closely with teachers, SEND staff, therapists and parents to support individual education and development plans.
Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Encourage pupils to become more independent and develop essential life and learning skills.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN/SEND, autism or additional needs.
Is patient, calm, compassionate and resilient.
Can build strong and positive relationships with children.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Is confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Is passionate about helping children overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
Can remain positive and professional when managing challenging situations.
Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience (desirable but not essential).
