Aspire People are recruiting experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the local area.
We are specifically looking for candidates who hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or relevant Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification and have recent UK-based experience working within a primary school.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced TA looking for their next long-term, short-term or flexible school-based role.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils within EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Providing 1:1 and small-group classroom support
* Assisting teachers with learning activities
* Supporting phonics, literacy and numeracy
* Helping pupils with additional learning needs and SEND
* Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
* Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
* Working closely with class teachers and wider school staff
* Supporting pupils during lessons, transitions and unstructured periods
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant or relevant qualification
* Has more than 6 months' recent UK-based primary school experience
* Confident supporting pupils across the primary age range
* Experience supporting SEND is desirable
* Patient, reliable and adaptable
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Committed to safeguarding and inclusive education
