* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential.
* Day-to-day and short-term assignments, subject to school requirements.
* Opportunities to provide one-to-one and small-group classroom support.
Duties
* Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs, including those with autism and disabilities, to promote their academic and social development
* Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
* Support children during classroom activities, including lessons, playtime, and transitions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment
* Foster positive communication and social skills through one-on-one interaction and group activities
* Support toddlers and young children by providing care that encourages independence and confidence
* Help monitor progress and report on student development to teachers and specialists
* Maintain a nurturing atmosphere that promotes inclusion, respect, and understanding among all students
