Design Manager – Reading

This leading Tier 1 contractor has a great freelance opportunity for a Senior Design Manager, that could be extended beyond the initial period of 6 months.  

You will as Senior Design Manager work on a live site in Reading, Berkshire. The site is a large, phased regeneration project consisting of residential units, a school and commercial/retail unit.

Your role as Senior Design Manager will be to support the current project team with all design tasks. The design is complete, and you will be managing CDP, and will need to have experience of managing site expectations. More details can be given when you have submitted your application and if you are selected.

As a Tier 1, contractor you will have worked for leading construction companies and be familiar with paperwork and processes aligned with working with a Tier 1. Processes and procedures to you as a Design Manager will be second nature and you will be comfortable entering a busy, active site to add support.

A UK construction qualification is essential and at least 5yrs as a Senior Design Manager.
