Carpenter

Straight-Line Group are currently looking for experienced Carpenters to start on a refurbishment project in Bristol.

This is a great opportunity for skilled Carpenters to work on a refurbishment programme involving accommodation and internal fit-out works.

The Role:

The main duties will include:

* Removing existing kitchens and kitchen areas

* Carpentry works within bathrooms

* Installing shower units and IPS systems

* Working with wet wall systems / White Rock

* Fitting internal doors

* Installing skirting boards

* Installing small kitchen units, cupboards and worktops

* General carpentry and refurbishment works as required

The Ideal Carpenter:

* Previous experience in refurbishment and carpentry

* Confident carrying out kitchen and bathroom installation works

* Experience with doors, skirting, cupboards and worktops

* Able to work independently and to a high standard

* Own carpentry tools required

* A jig/chop saw for worktops would be beneficial, although this can be discussed with the client

Important Site Requirements

The project involves working within supported accommodation, so operatives must be professional, respectful and considerate at all times.

There are specific security procedures on site, including ensuring doors and designated areas are properly secured and locked where required. Candidates must be comfortable working in an environment where attention to security, professionalism and consideration for residents is essential.
