Site Engineer – Central London
I am currently working alongside a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to join their team in Central London, following the award of a number of new contracts.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in groundworks, drainage and foundations to join an established contractor on a long-term project.
Site Engineer Responsibilities

Setting out accurately using Total Station and other surveying equipment.
*
Setting out groundworks, drainage, external works and foundations.
*
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site management team to ensure works are delivered efficiently.
*
Checking works are being completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and agreed methodologies.
*
Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to the required standards.
*
Ensuring all relevant health and safety requirements are adhered to on site.
*
Identifying and reporting any technical issues or discrepancies to the project management team.
*
Ensuring the correct site documentation, drawings and records are maintained.
*
Carrying out as-built surveys and recording completed works where required.
*
Ensuring works are completed on time, within programme and to specification.
Site Engineer Requirements
*
Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within groundworks and civil engineering.
*
Strong setting-out experience across groundworks, drainage, external works and foundations.
*
Confident using Total Station and other surveying equipment.
*
Valid CSCS Card.
*
Full UK Driving Licence.
*
Right to work in the UK.
*
Strong communication and organisational skills.
*
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a site team.
