We are currently recruiting for various SEN Teaching Assistant and SEND Support positions across Telford, supporting children and young people from EYFS through to 18+.

About the Roles
Our partner schools and settings are looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic support staff to work alongside teachers and wider school teams.
Depending on the individual role, you may support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
Autism / ASC.
ADHD.
Communication and interaction needs.
Complex learning needs.
Social, emotional and mental health needs.
Moderate or severe learning difficulties.
Physical or medical needs.
Sensory needs.
Behavioural and emotional needs.
You may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, within small groups or as part of a wider classroom team, depending on the requirements of the school.
Your Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant or SEND Support professional, your responsibilities may include:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
Helping pupils access learning and the wider curriculum.
Supporting communication, social and emotional development.
Encouraging independence and confidence.
Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Assisting teachers with classroom activities.
Supporting pupils with individual learning and development targets.
Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
Working closely with teachers, support staff and other professionals.
Providing a calm, consistent and nurturing presence.
Supporting pupils during lessons and wider school activities.
Following individual support plans and school policies.
Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people.
Who We're Looking For
We are recruiting for a variety of SEN TA and SEND support roles, so we are interested in hearing from candidates with different backgrounds and levels of experience.
You may be:
An experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.
A Learning Support Assistant.
An experienced SEND Support Worker.
A Teaching Assistant looking to move into SEND.
A graduate interested in a career in education.
Someone with experience in care, youth work or community support.
Someone with personal or professional experience of supporting individuals with additional needs.
A candidate with little formal SEND experience but a genuine passion for helping children and young people.
Previous SEND experience is desirable but not always essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who are patient, resilient, compassionate and committed to helping pupils achieve their potential.
