Service Coordinator – Remote | Scotland | 6-Month Maternity Cover
We are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join a growing Security Engineering company, responsible for coordinating engineers and service activities across the Scotland region.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will be responsible for coordinating security engineers, managing workloads and handling a high volume of customer calls and enquiries. The role would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, can think quickly and is comfortable managing multiple priorities.
The Role
* Coordinate and manage workloads for 5–6 security engineers across Scotland
* Schedule and allocate service and maintenance work efficiently
* Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls
* Liaise with engineers, customers and internal teams
* Manage customer enquiries and service requests
* Coordinate engineer attendance across multiple sites
* Update internal systems and maintain accurate service records
* Prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and customer requirements are met
* Monitor engineer workloads and respond to changes or urgent requests
* Provide general administrative support to the wider service team
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator, Scheduler, Planner or similar coordination role.
You will ideally have:
* Experience coordinating engineers or field-based teams
* Experience working in a fast-paced service environment
* Strong organisation and multitasking skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* The ability to coordinate multiple engineers and workloads
* Confidence handling a high volume of telephone calls
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* A proactive approach and ability to think on your feet
* Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
Previous experience within security, fire & security, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, facilities management, property maintenance or another field-service environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
