IT First Line Support Analyst

Are you passionate about technology and helping people solve problems? We're looking for an IT First Line Support Analyst to join a busy Service Delivery team, providing technical support to colleagues across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous IT support experience or a recent IT qualification who is looking to develop their career in IT within a supportive and fast-paced environment. This is a temporary assignment with an immediate start, making it ideal for someone who is available straight away.
The Role
As the first point of contact for IT support, you'll help resolve a wide range of technical issues and ensure users receive an excellent support experience. You'll be responsible for logging, diagnosing and resolving incidents, as well as escalating more complex issues to specialist teams when required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support via phone, email and service desk systems
Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues
Log and manage incidents and service requests accurately
Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams
Set up and maintain user accounts and access permissions
Support desktops, laptops, mobile phones and tablets
Assist with hardware deployment and software installations
Keep users updated on progress and resolutions
Contribute to knowledge base documentation and process improvements
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk or Customer Service environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, mobile devices and Microsoft applications
Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools
A customer-focused approach with a genuine desire to help others
The ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure
An IT qualification or relevant studies would be advantageous
