Kitchen Porter

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing, Monday - Friday 8.30 -4pm (occasion additional hours for events)
Hourly Rate: £13.85
Role Purpose:
The Kitchen Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and food preparation areas, contributing to an exceptional culinary experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning duties within the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Wash dishes and pots, ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery and cutlery.
Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
Check in and store goods correctly within fridges, freezers, and storerooms.
Maintain a safe working environment by complying with health, hygiene, and safety legislation.
Operate the dishwasher effectively to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Contribute positively to an inclusive environment that supports and values every individual.
Comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring personal wellbeing and that of colleagues.
Engage in sustainable practises within the workplace, understanding its impact on the community.
