Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Supporting Pupils with SEND
Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming school in Lymington seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide consistent support to pupils with additional needs.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, compassionate and confident supporting children who may require additional help with communication, learning, behaviour or emotional regulation.
The Role
You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider support team to:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support
Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
Help pupils access classroom learning
Encourage communication and independence
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Build trusting relationships with pupils
Support classroom activities and interventions
Assist pupils throughout the school day
Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment
