Use regulation and de-escalation strategies, responding confidently to behaviour that may present a safety risk.
Support academic progress and engagement, building on the pupil’s strengths.
Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to maintain a consistent approach.
What we’re looking for
Strong experience supporting complex SEND, emotional dysregulation and challenging behaviour.
A calm, patient and confident approach, with strong communication skills.
GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent, as a minimum.
A genuine commitment to helping children feel safe, regulated and successful.
