SENCO Special Educational Needs School, Solihull
We are seeking an experienced, passionate and NASENCO-qualified SENCO to join a specialist SEN school in Solihull, supporting pupils with a range of complex additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and developing the schools SEND provision, working closely with teachers, support staff, families and external professionals to ensure every pupil receives the appropriate support to thrive.
We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of specialist education, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
Key requirements:
NASENCO qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working within a specialist SEN setting
Strong knowledge of ASD, SEMH and/or SLD
Excellent understanding of SEND legislation, provision and best practice
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
A child-centred approach and commitment to inclusive, high-quality education
