Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Primary

Aspire People are recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary school settings.
This role is specifically for candidates who hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification and have previous UK school experience.
Requirements:
* MUST hold a recognised Level 2 TA, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification
* MUST have previous UK school-based experience
* Experience within a primary school is essential
* SEND experience is desirable
* Strong understanding of safeguarding
* Patient, reliable and nurturing approach
* Confident supporting pupils individually and in small groups
The Role:
* Supporting pupils within the classroom
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support
* Assisting with differentiated learning activities
* Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
* Helping children develop confidence and independence
* Supporting behaviour and classroom routines
* Delivering or assisting with interventions
* Supporting teachers with classroom activities
* Monitoring and feeding back on pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate:
* Level 2 qualified
* Recent UK school experience
* Confident working with primary-aged children
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Able to build positive relationships with pupils
* Adaptable and willing to support across different year groups
