We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator, working hybrid on a contract basis. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring that day-to-day processes run smoothly, appointments are scheduled efficiently, and all paperwork and documentation are accurately recorded and maintained.
This role would suit someone with strong administrative and IT skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support to the team and assist with daily office operations.
* Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and diaries.
* Ensure all paperwork, documents, and correspondence are accurately logged, recorded, and filed.
* Maintain organised and up-to-date records and documentation.
* Use Microsoft Excel and other software packages to input, update, and manage information.
* Check documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and respond to routine enquiries.
* Speak with customers and supply chain as required.
* Monitor administrative tasks and deadlines, ensuring work is completed efficiently and on time.
* Support the team with any additional administrative duties as required.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
* Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
* Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Experience using various software packages and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and maintaining reliable records.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive approach, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently as well as part of a team.
Desirable but not essential:
* Experience within the construction, property, or related industries.
* Experience working in a contract-based or project-driven environment.
* Familiarity with document control, contract administration, or project paperwork
