Veritas Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Bury and the surrounding areas. We have flexible opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we would love to hear from you.
The Role:
Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience advantageous)
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
Plan and assess work where required for longer-term assignments
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learnersThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for education and student progress
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
