Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) | Hampshire

Academics is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Hampshire for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This varied role will involve delivering whole-class lessons to cover PPA and staff absence, alongside providing interventions and classroom support when required.

Monday to Friday, 8:35am-3:55pm

Start date: ASAP / after half term

Daily rate of pay: £110 per day

Full HLTA training available where required

To apply for this role, you will need to:

Have GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.
Build positive relationships with children, including those with SEND.

Deliver lessons from teacher-prepared plans and provide feedback on learning when the teacher is not available.

Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Be calm, adaptable, organised and confident working independently and as part of a team.

Understand safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.

Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is beneficial, but a willingness to learn is essential.
