About this job

Reflect Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics business seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support its busy warehouse operation.

The company is based between Newark and Grantham and therefore own transport is essential to reach the site.

The role would be Monday - Friday with working hours being typically between 45 hours to a 50 hour maximum. The role would be salaried at £35,000–£37,500 per annum, depending on experience with 23 days’ annual holiday entitlement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and professional individual with experience in warehousing and transport to take on a key supervisory role within a fast-paced logistics environment with opportunities to progress your career within the business. The operation runs throughout the morning and evening, with general warehouse activities taking place between peak periods. Duties include unloading shipping containers, picking and preparing freight, and ensuring goods are ready for onward transit.

The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating the warehouse team, maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring daily workloads are completed safely and on time.

Support management with the allocation and coordination of daily workloads. Oversee yard operations, including the unloading and reloading of vehicles. Coordinate warehouse activities to ensure freight is processed and prepared for transit efficiently. Liaise with warehouse administration, the traffic team and management to maintain smooth operations. Monitor team performance, productivity and operational deadlines. Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

To be considered for this position, you should have: Previous experience within warehousing and transport or a similar logistics environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and day-to-day operations. An understanding of health and safety procedures. Basic First Aid knowledge, with refresher training available during the first six months of employment. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). A valid counterbalance FLT licence covering trucks up to 3 tonnes and experience operating Bendi and/or Reach trucks would be preferred, but not essential.

If you are an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for your next opportunity to join a local growing business within a specialist company, we’d love to hear from you.
