Site Manager (Enhanced DBS Required)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a six-week programme of fire safety works, including the installation of fire doors, fire stopping and remediation works, together with minor M&E alterations.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to the required quality standards, and within a challenging programme. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive individual who can drive subcontractor performance, coordinate multiple trades, resolve issues quickly, and maintain excellent client relationships within an occupied environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all site activities and subcontractors.

* Drive programme delivery to achieve completion within the six-week timescale.

* Coordinate fire door, fire remediation and minor M&E works.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality standards and project specifications.

* Carry out daily site inspections, progress reporting and quality checks.

* Liaise with the client, residents and project team to ensure smooth delivery.

Essential Requirements

* Current Enhanced DBS certificate.

* SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card) and First Aid at Work.

* Proven experience managing fire door installation and passive fire protection projects.

* Experience coordinating minor M&E works.

* Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

* Ability to work proactively and drive performance on a fast-track programme.

The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the project, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and ensure successful delivery of the works within the six-week programme
