The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Planner to join a leading manufacturing organisation. This role offers the chance to play a key part in coordinating production activities, supporting supply chain performance and ensuring products are delivered to customers efficiently and on time.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Create and manage production plans that effectively balance customer demand, manufacturing capability and business objectives.
Monitor inventory, materials and packaging availability to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations and customer fulfilment.
Coordinate the procurement and movement of materials and finished products across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution locations.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to overcome supply challenges, minimise risks and maintain service levels.
Produce planning and inventory reports, using data analysis to support informed operational decision-making and continuous improvement activities.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Previous experience in a Production Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Planning or wider Supply Chain position within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrable experience managing production schedules, inventory optimisation and supply continuity.
Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or equivalent planning software.
Excellent analytical skills with advanced attention to detail and confidence working with data and Microsoft Excel.Proven ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments whilst managing changing priorities in a busy operational setting.
