Astute's contract team is partnering with a Construction firm who specialise in delivering projects, mostly within the anaerobic digestion / biogas industry. This is to recruit for a Site Manager for its Cork (Ireland) site for an initial 6-month contract (possible extension).
The Site Manager role comes with a day rate of £350-£450 per day, Outside IR35.
This role has a start date of Monday 27th July, the client is only accepting candidates who are immediately available of have a maximum 1 week notice period.
For this role you can either be based in Ireland or the UK however, for UK based candidates you will be in Ireland for the duration of this contract. Please no applications if you're not prepared for frequent travel to Ireland.
Key Skills required for the Site Manager contract:
Must come from a Mechanical Engineering background
A successful track record of hosting briefings, running a construction site to completion and able to confidently run reports
Bonus if you have been a Site Manager for a new biogas / anaerobic digestion plant
Strong people management experience
Due to this role being in Ireland, these qualifications are a MUST:
Hold a valid SOLAS Safe Pass Card (also known as a SOLAS CSCS)
IOSH or NEBOSH
SMSTS
Be registered on CIRI (Construction Industry Register Ireland)
BCMS (Building Control Management System)These qualifications are desirable:
