Overview
An established independent school in Croydon is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join its thriving department. The successful candidate will be passionate about music education, committed to inspiring pupils of all abilities, and capable of delivering engaging lessons that foster creativity, performance skills, and a love of music.

Key Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons across the relevant key stages.
· Inspire students to develop their practical, theoretical, and performance skills.
· Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
· Support and lead extracurricular music activities, including choirs, ensembles, and performances.
· Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
· Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Essential Requirements
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
· Experience teaching Music within a school setting.
· Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
· Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
· Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
· Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
