About this contract

NRL are seeking an experienced Site Labourer for a long-term assignment at a factory site in Sheffield (S9). This role is perfect for those confident in maintaining safety for operatives working at height. 

Salary
Basic rate (Mon–Fri, first 37.5 hours): £15.45 PAYE working rate + £2.17 holiday pay = £17.62 total PAYE payable (Umbrella rate: £20.88)
Overtime 1 (Midweek & Saturday, first 6 hours): £20.09 PAYE working rate + £2.82 holiday pay = £22.90 total PAYE payable (Umbrella rate: £27.14)
Overtime 2 (Saturday after 6 hours & Sundays): £23.18 PAYE working rate + £3.25 holiday pay = £26.43 total PAYE payable (Umbrella rate: £31.32)Location and Working Pattern
Location: Sheffield (S9) – New build factory site
Start Date: July 2026
Duration: December 2026
Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to FridayClient Overview Our client is delivering a large-scale industrial project and requires a qualified spotter to ensure site safety and compliance during high-level work.

Responsibilities
Monitor operatives working at heights of up to 28–30 metres
Ensure all barriers and exclusion zones remain in place
Patrol and secure the work area to prevent unauthorised access
Report potential hazards or unsafe practices immediately
Work closely with the site team to maintain safe operationsMust‑have Requirements
Valid CSCS card
IPAF qualificationNice‑to‑have Skills
Experience supervising MEWP or high-access work
Strong communication and hazard awareness
