Teaching Assistant - Daily Supply & Long-Term Roles

Remedy Education are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work with schools based in Stratford.

We have both daily supply roles and long-term full-time positions available, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking for flexible work or a more consistent school placement.

The schools are looking for confident, proactive and supportive individuals who can help pupils with their learning, behaviour and classroom routines. This role would suit experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, aspiring teachers, or candidates with childcare, tutoring, mentoring or youth work experience.

Role Details:

Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Stratford
Pay: £95-£115 per day
Hours: Daily supply and long-term full-time roles available
Start Date: ASAP / September roles available
School Type: Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Support pupils in class on a 1:1, small group and whole-class basis
* Assist teachers with lessons, activities and classroom routines
* Help pupils stay engaged, focused and confident in their learning
* Support positive behaviour and encourage participation
* Work with pupils of different abilities and learning needs
* Help create a calm, supportive and inclusive classroom environment
* Choose daily supply work or commit to a long-term full-time role

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Previous experience working with children or young people
* School, nursery, tutoring, care, mentoring or youth work experience is desirable
* A patient, reliable and positive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Confidence supporting pupils with different learning needs
* Flexibility for daily supply or commitment to a long-term role
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
