SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time

📍 Location: NN12 (Towcester/Tiffield Area)
🕒 Full-Time | September Start | Ongoing Opportunity

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?

I C Talent is currently recruiting for a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in the NN12 (Tiffield) area. This is a full-time, ongoing position, offering the opportunity to work within a supportive and rewarding environment where every day brings the chance to positively impact a child's learning journey.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), complex learning difficulties, communication needs, and behavioural challenges. Some pupils are non-verbal and require personal care, so we're looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

The provision caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils, with the majority of students currently in the lower year groups.

The Role

*

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.

*

Assist teachers in delivering engaging, tailored learning activities.

*

Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development.

*

Encourage independence, confidence, and personal growth.

*

Provide personal care where required.

*

Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

*

Has experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly Autism and complex needs (desirable).

*

Is patient, resilient, and empathetic.

*

Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

*

Can build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.

*

Is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and succeed.

What We Offer

*

Competitive daily rates of pay.

*

A rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference.

*

Ongoing support from your dedicated I C Talent consultant.

*

Access to training and professional development opportunities.

*

The opportunity to gain valuable experience within a specialist SEN setting.

If you're ready to begin a rewarding career supporting children with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.
