Senior HS&W Advisor

Our client is looking for 3x Senior HS&W Advisor's to start ASAP. This is based in Suffolk and will be ongoing for a minimum of 12 months.

Overview

To support the HSW Lead/Manager and operational teams to deliver and comply with the project and CWA HSW goals and objectives across the night shift including weekend working, ensuring all legal obligations are met. The role will ensure effective handover between shifts and will support sitewide CWA activities.

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

* Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.

* Able to engage at all levels within the CWA operational team structure.

* Competence in accident and incident investigation.

* Has a good understanding of UK Health and Safety Legislation.

* Able to use data and information for the preparation of HSW reports.

* Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) competence – Manager level.

Desirable

* Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

* NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ 4, 5 or 6 in Occupational Health and Safety.

* Minimum Grad IOSH (or working towards).

Desirable

* Have previous experience in a Health and Safety Senior Advisor role with relevant constructed related or transferable skills.

This role is working nights & weekends with 7 nights on and then 3 off and the hours are 19:00hrs to 05:00hrs.
