Pay: £19.42 per hour (Paid weekly via umbrella)

Hours: 37 Hours

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Carpenter

Carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry repairs within occupied council properties
Complete responsive maintenance and repair works to a high standard
Install, repair and replace doors, frames, skirting, architraves and kitchen units
Undertake repairs to windows, flooring and other timber fixtures
Diagnose faults and ensure all work is completed right first time
Work safely and efficiently in occupied properties whilst providing excellent customer service
Maintain accurate records of completed works using PDA systems
Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety regulationsRequirements

Must have proven experience carrying out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
Must have experience working within a social housing or property maintenance environment
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices
Excellent customer service and communication skillsBenefits

Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am - 4:00pm)
