Licensing & Enforcement Processing Officer

Location: Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 and Hybrid working with 3 days a week in office

Pay Rate: £18.65 per hour PAYE

Contract: Temporary – Up to 6 Months

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for five temporary Licensing & Enforcement Processing Officers to support the Licensing Service during a critical period of change. They are currently managing a backlog of approximately 1,600 licence applications that must be processed ahead of a major system migration. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, supportive team and play a key role in ensuring applications are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Process a high volume of licence applications in line with council procedures and service standards.
Review applications for completeness and accuracy, requesting additional information where
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
Respond to enquiries from applicants and stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
Support the Licensing team with a range of administrative and processing duties as required.
Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
About You

Previous experience in administration, processing, or a similar office-based role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
Confident using Microsoft Office and database systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience within licensing or local government is desirable but not essential.
