About this job

Our client is looking for a friendly and professional Customer Support Advisor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a customer contact or telephone-based customer service environment who enjoys helping people, solving problems and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Full training will be provided, so previous industry experience is not essential.

The Role

You'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing advice and support over the telephone, understanding individual needs and helping to identify the most appropriate solutions. Alongside delivering outstanding customer service, you'll maintain accurate records, complete administrative tasks and work towards agreed performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle inbound and outbound customer calls.

* Provide professional, tailored advice and support.

* Build rapport and deliver an excellent customer experience.

* Accurately update customer records and internal systems.

* Complete follow-up calls and associated administration.

* Work towards individual and team KPIs.

* Ensure compliance with company procedures and data protection requirements.

* Escalate complex enquiries where appropriate.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives.

* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to enhance the customer journey.

About You

* At least two years' experience in a customer contact or telephone-based customer service role.

* Excellent communication and listening skills.

* A professional, empathetic and positive approach.

* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM or database systems.

* Able to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.

* Comfortable working towards performance targets.

* A proactive team player with a genuine passion for helping customers.
